"Release the hit list"

Despite a promise of “extensive consultation” the State Government is still with-holding most of its plans for the North Adelaide golf course in the urban forested Possum Park /Pirltawardli (Park 1 of your Adelaide Park Lands).

You can urge the Premier to identify every one of the 585 mature trees that he admits he wants to destroy.

Call me by my name

Dear Premier, why won’t you call me by my name? If you are going to chop down my trees, why won’t you look me in the forest and tell me straight? Yours sincerely, Pirltawardli ….

Your Car Parking Lands

It seems that the City of Adelaide puts a low priority on enforcing restrictions on car parking in your Adelaide Park Lands.

Week after week, hundreds of drivers are flouting restrictions and covering your Open, Green Public spaces with their vehicles.

Sport buildings consultation (again!)

The City Council is consulting for a second time, about how it manages sports buildings on your Park Lands.

How does the new policy deal with the tension between the demands of community sport, and the public interest in "Open, Green, Public" Park Lands?

Tearing up the rule book

If you wanted to build a new house, a shed or a carport, you would need to comply with planning rules.

However if you are the State Government, and you want to build on the Adelaide Park Lands, you have no such constraints.
