The APPA Park Ambassadors Program was officially launched at our Annual General Meeting on 30 April 2017.
What is a Park Ambassador? simply a volunteer who's agreed to take a photo once a month, let you know (through our monthly newsletter) what's happening in each Park, and then, once a year, lead a guided walk through "their" Park, i.e. their favourite chosen part of the Adelaide Park Lands.
It's just a few people helping to share the love of the Adelaide Park Lands - each of us sharing our favourite part with you.
The first guided walk has been scheduled for Nantu Wama (Park 6) on Saturday 3 June 2017, at 2pm. The walk is free for APPA members, and a gold coin donation is requested for others. Details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1351169044960863/
