Have Your Say on Park Lands – By Nov 8

by Carla Caruso

If you’ve been itching to share your vision for the Adelaide Park Lands, now’s your chance.

You can provide your thoughts on all things Park Lands via a City Council online survey and/or interactive map.

You’ll need to register first though.

This consultation remains open until 9am, Monday, 8 November 2021.

The Park Lands Authority, an advisory body, is keen to hear your views, focused around the following:

  • What do you value and/or love about the Adelaide Park Lands?

  • What would – or does – inspire you to spend more time in the Adelaide Park Lands?

  • What is your vision for the Adelaide Park Lands?

The feedback will be used to inform the upcoming review of the Adelaide Park Lands Management Strategy in 2022.

These are some of the survey questions you can expect to answer. Pic: City of Adelaide.

The survey also seeks feedback on specific issues and features, including:

·       native trees

·       natural landscapes and grasslands

·       formal landscapes

·       wetlands

·       ornamental gardens

·       wildlife/biodiversity

·       structured and designed perimeters

·       cafes and kiosks

·       community gardens

·       public art

·       events

·       car parking

Don’t delay if you wish to have your say!
