We're in the History Festival

by Shane Sody

The Adelaide Park Lands Association is proud to be one of the many community groups taking part in South Australia's History Festival again, this year.

The History Festival is a month-long celebration of South Australia’s history, each May. In 2024, the Festival centres around the theme of “Power”.

On page 13 of the History Festival printed program, you'll see three of our Guided Walks featured. Bookings for these three Guided Walks (on the 5th, 19th and 26th of May) are now open.

I am included in the History Festival's "Portraits of Power" a collection of one hundred portraits of one hundred South Australians, each with a story and a perspective on "power" as it relates to South Australia's history.
