Bigger than ever on Facebook

The City of Adelaide has followed the lead of the Adelaide Park Lands Association by becoming more active promoting your Park Lands on social media, including Facebook.

After we unveiled our 8-minute documentary "World's Only" late in 2023, the City Council recently published (and promoted on Facebook) its own (50-second) video tribute: "Discover the Adelaide Park Lands"

Another recent City Council update on Facebook, about restoration of the Rymill Park Lake confirmed that the restoration is on schedule to be completed in April.

Meantime we have had a massive boost to our own Facebook support. The Adelaide Park Lands Association Facebook page has more than doubled our reach over the past three years, exceeding 6,000 followers just before the end of March.

Our website blog, and our bi-monthly email newsletter 'Open, Green, Public" both remain important parts of our communication strategy, but we definitely reach many more people on social media, where we are sharing news and views of your Adelaide Park Lands literally every day on Facebook, and Instagram.
