Park Lands Art - time running out

by Shane Sody

There’s limited time left to secure one of the remaining, stunning art works, exhibited at the 2025 Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize.

Although the physical exhibition, at the Adelaide Festival Centre, concluded at the end of April, a virtual exhibition, provided by ABM Visual, is ongoing.

It gives you an extended opportunity to see (and/or purchase!) one or more of this year’s stunning collection of finalists’ Park Lands art works.

If you have a public-facing office or workplace, then you should be eligible to claim an instant write-off of up to $20,000 for an artwork that would be on public display.

But the cutoff date is 30 June 2025. From that date, we’ll no longer be offering these artworks for sale. The instant tax-write off will no longer be available after 30 June 2025.

So don’t delay!

Background

The 2025 Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize attracted more than 300 entries. Our panel of five independent and acknowledged expert judges selected 89 artworks as finalists. Those finalists were displayed in the Adelaide Festival Centre gallery during April 2025.

Prize money totalling $42,500 was paid out to winners of the various categories, thanks to the generosity of these sponsors and donors:

Proceeds benefit both the artist (70%) and the Adelaide Park Lands Association (30%) to continue our work to Explore, Inspire, Protect and Restore.
