Three new members have been welcomed to the leadership team of the Adelaide Park Lands Association.
A Committee (Board) meeting on Thursday 5 February formalised the changeover, with three incoming members, replacing others who have recently retired or resigned.
This is our leadership team pending our Annual General Meeting in April, when all positions are formally declared vacant. At the AGM our members will have the opportunity to vote for leaders to take the Adelaide Park Lands Association into the following (2026-27) year.
The changes formalised on 5 February include:
Confirmation of Ben Ayris as our Acting President, replacing former President Sarah Russo who has retired for health reasons. The Committee thanked Ms Russo for her contribution since the 2025 AGM.
Noting the resignation of former Committee member Tim Agius, and that he be thanked for his recent contribution;
Nomination of Shane Sody as Acting Secretary, replacing Walter Bulyga who has also retired.
Appointment of three new members:
Helen Hutton
Rod Lewis; and
Pauline Bradford
Helen Hutton and Rod Lewis have been active in our program of Guided Walks, and are currently training a new crop of Tour Guide recruits.
Pauline Bradford has taken up a key role in managing our social media accounts.
The date for the Annual General Meeting has been scheduled for 19 April 2026. APA members will receive a formal invitation in due course.
