"Regenerate" again in 2026

by Shane Sody

“Trees for Life” is hoping to renew its popular “Regenerate” program of bushcare in your Adelaide Park Lands in the New Year.

For ten years, the “Regenerate” program has focussed upon three sites within your Adelaide Park Lands, bringing volunteers together to care for precious patches of bushland in:

  • Lefevre Park / Nantu Wama (Park 6)

  • Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi (Park 16); and

  • Carriageway Park /Tuthangga (Park 17)

Co-ordinator Tricia Curtis reports that throughout 2025, “Regenerate” volunteers have:

  • attended 24 activities, involving

  • 146 participant days (i.e. an average of 6 participants for each activity) ; and

  • planted over 200 native species.

The program for 2026 has not yet been released, but if you’d like to be kept in the loop, simply email triciac@treesforlife.org.au
